VILLAGE ELECTIONS: MARCH 20, 2018, NOON TO 9 PM
Absentee Applications and Voter Registration Forms are available at the Village Clerks' Office at 15 Mountain Road, Ravena, NY during regular business hours. The last day to register with Albany County is March 9, 2018.
At a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Ravena, held on February 20, 2018, the following Resolution was offered by Mayor Misuraca, and seconded by Trustee Bailey, who moved its adoption and it was duly carried unanimously.
WHEREAS THE NEXT GENERAL ELECTION for officers of the Village of Ravena shall be held on March 20, 2018, and
WHEREAS THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES is required by Section 15-104, Subparagraph 3(b) of the Election law to adopt a Resolution designating the polling places, the hours the polls shall be open and addresses of those nominated.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Board of Trustees of the Village of Ravena designates the polling place as 15 Mountain Road, Ravena, NY 12143, the hours during which the polls will be open shall be 12 o'clock noon until 9 pm and the candidates nominated for office in accordance with the provision of Article 15 Village Election Law are:
William J. Misuraca, Jr., 26 Main Street, Ravena, NY 12143 nominated for office of Village Mayor for a four year term.
Martin R. Case, 54 Wendell Street, Ravena, NY 12143 nominated for the office of Village Mayor for a four year term.
Joel S. Coye, 3 Laura Lane, Ravena, NY 12143 nominated for the office of Village Trustee for a four year term.
Mary Ellen Rosato, 7 Griffin Street, Ravena, NY 12143 nominated for the office of Village Trustee for a four year term.
Keith E. Mahler, Jr. 71 Magnolia Circle, Ravena, NY 12143 nominated for the office of Village Trustee for a four year term.
Linda C. Muller, 56 Western Avenue, Ravena, NY 12143 nominated for the office of Village Trustee for a four year term.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THE Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this Resolution in full in the local newspaper and to post a copy of this Resolution in at least six (6) conspicuous public places within the Village on or before March 10, 2018 and that a copy be placed at the polling place.
THIS RESOLUTION shall take effect immediately.
