  FALL GRASS AND LEAF PICK UP:
  The Village of Ravena will be picking up bagged leaves, grass clippings and twigs every other Monday starting: September 28 and concluding with a FINAL pickup on November 23 - - weather permitting.
• Paper bags are NO LONGER available at the Village Office. They can be purchased at any of the local stores.  NO PLASTIC BAGS WILL BE PICKED UP!
• Bags should be placed near the street and should not contain any garbage, debris, etc. Bags containing anything other than grass, leaves or twigs and those which are too heavy to be thrown onto the truck will be left at the curb.
• Branches cut into sections no larger then 3 inches in diameter will also be picked up and put through the chipper. 
• All bags and branches must be curbside by 7AM on pickup day. Do not place your bags out any earlier than the day before a scheduled pickup.
• The leaf vacuum will be cleaning the streets on a daily basis, as deemed necessary, starting Monday October 5 and concluding November 23.
• Please do not rake leaves into the street.
• Rake leaves only to the edge of your lawn or the edge of the curb.
• Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
• Please adhere to the above schedule.
