PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Village of Ravena ZBA/Planning Board has scheduled a public hearing for Monday, January 22, 2018 at 7 pm at the Village Municipal Building, 15 Mountain Road, Ravena, NY 12143.
SAID HEARING is for a site plan review for a commercial change of occupancy. Brian Sipperly representing EVA CARE, INC. on the purchase of 56 Central Ave., Ravena, NY 12143. An application has been submitted for the manufacturing, bottling and warehousing of ready to drink Chinese tea.
SAID PROPERTY is located south of the Village park/pool, north of 54 and 55 Central Ave., east of 15 Dempster Ave. and west of CSX Transportation, Inc. Railroad.
All persons interested are invited to attend this hearing and be heard.

🎄CHRISTMAS TREE PICKUP & RECYCLING 🎄
Beginning Tuesday, Jan 2, the Village Crew will be picking up your "real" Christmas trees for recycling.
Please be sure they are totally undecorated & without stands attached & do not place them in bags.
Place them at the edge of your property or curbside; with the potential for snow at anytime please keep them out of the street. ❄️ ❄️
Tree pickup will continue until the end of January; thank you for your cooperation.
There will be a meeting with Crawford & Associates Engineering on February 1, 2018 at 1 pm at the Village Hall, 15 Mountain Road. This is a public meeting where Crawford will present goals, steps and tasks that will be conducted as part of a study regarding our storm water issues (this study is a result of grant funds awarded to the Village). The project will identify areas in the Village suitable for green infrastructure practices to increase flood resiliency. This is an informational meeting ; interested public is encouraged to attend.
PLEASE be reminded that once 3" of snow has accumulated there is no parking on Village streets.
In order to plow & clear the streets effectively & safely they must be free of parked cars, so PLEASE move your vehicles into your driveways or use the 3 public Village lots (Main St & Central Ave, behind the Ravena Post Office & next to the Hair Em Salon).
Cars must remain off the streets for 12 hrs after snow stops falling.
Vehicles will be ticketed & towed if found parked on any Village street.
Also remember that if your property adjoins any public sidewalk, all snow & ice should be removed by you within 24 hours of accumulation (per our Village Code).
This is for your own safety as well as all pedestrians (including emergency personnel such as the fire department).
