HELP WANTED: PART-TIME POSITION CLERICAL
The Village of Ravena is seeking part-time clerical staff for our court office to fill an immediate opening. Typing, filing, computer skills and pleasant phone skills are required. Must be dependable, responsible, flexible, and confident handling money. Confidentiality is crucial for this position. Background investigation is required. 15 Hours per week @ $12.00 per hour with the possibility of $14.00 per hour after yearly review. Changes in Water Restriction:
We are lifting the water restriction in the Village of Ravena on a trial basis. We still encourage everyone to conserve water whenever possible.
The Mayor and the Board of Trustees would like to remind residents of our village codes regarding dogs. . .to summarize our village codes and laws:
It is unlawful to allow dogs to run at large unless said dog is restrained by a leash or unless accompanied by its owner or a responsible person able to control the animal.
It is unlawful to allow dogs to engage in habitual loud howling or barking or conduct itself in such a manner as to habitually annoy any person.
Unnecessary noise from any source between the hours of 10:00 pm and 7:00 am the following day is prohibited. Noise from a dog that is continuous and exceeds 15 minutes is prohibited as well.
Removal of all feces is required.

RABIES CLINIC SCHEDULE 2017
The following series of Rabies Vaccination Clinics for dogs, cats, and ferrets have been arranged by the Albany County Department of Health in cooperation with the Capital District Veterinary Medical Society.
ALL DOGS, CATS, AND FERRETS MUST BE ON LEASHES OR IN CARRIERS.
A record of prior vaccination will be required for a three year immunization certification. If no record is presented, a one year vaccination certification will be issued. All clinics are open to any Albany County resident.
