VILLAGE OF RAVENA: INFORMATIONAL MEETING
Please take notice that an informational meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 7:30 pm at the Ravena Village Hall located at 15 Mountain Road, Ravena, NY 12143 in regards to restructuring the parking on Main St/Rt. 143, Ravena.
For Your Information: The September 2017 Water/Sewer Bills were mailed on September 7th. To avoid late charges, payment must be received by October 9, 2017.
RABIES CLINIC SCHEDULE 2017
The following series of Rabies Vaccination Clinics for dogs, cats, and ferrets have been arranged by the Albany County Department of Health in cooperation with the Capital District Veterinary Medical Society.
ALL DOGS, CATS, AND FERRETS MUST BE ON LEASHES OR IN CARRIERS.
A record of prior vaccination will be required for a three year immunization certification. If no record is presented, a one year vaccination certification will be issued. All clinics are open to any Albany County resident.

HELP WANTED: PART-TIME CLERICAL POSITION
The Village of Ravena is seeking part-time clerical staff for our building department to fill an immediate opening. Typing, filing, computer skills and pleasant phone skills are required. Must be dependable, responsible, and flexible. 18 Hours per week at $12.00 per hour. Please submit an application to the Village Clerks' Offices at 15 Mountain Road by September 27, 2017. Thank you.
REMINDERS FOR RESIDENTS:
BRUSH: Please place cut end toward the road. Do not crisscross brush. No other lawn debris on brush pile.
BAGS: Grass, leaves, and vegetable compost only in bags. Please place grass clippings in bags. Bags should be no heavier than 50 lbs. Please do not blow grass clippings into the street.
SWEEPER: The Sweeper will usually be out on Fridays weather permitting. Please try not to park on the streets during this time.
LEAF VACUUM: The leaf vacuum only goes out in the fall (around October 15 - November 30). Leaves and grass only. Place on the edge of the road (not in the road)
ARTISTS WANTED!!! The Village of Ravena is looking for local artists/graphic designers who would be willing to volunteer their time to decorate/paint our new planters. If interested please contact the Village Clerks' office during regular business hours.
